STORE LAMBS
2154 lambs Av. £101.05
The time of celebration and festivities are upon us at J36 lamb store lamb sales.
The lords may be your shepherd, but the shepherds were certainly the lords today.
Joy was in abundance for lamb prices for the time of year with lambs being more long term prospects, pessimists were away in a manger and no where to be seen
You could see the steam dripping off some buyers faces as they considered themselves mulled.
The wisemen of Whinfell topped the sale today (Messrs Strickland) with a pen of Texels at £140.
Suffolks were sought after particularly if theyre made like donkeys. Topping this category was Messrs Bell, Sunny Brow and B&R Barnes making £134.
If you also want to follow the star that shines brightly above Junction 36 then do not hesitate to enquire.
The next store lamb sale is on Thursday 15th January 2026.
Come to J36 for a prompt payment and a competitive trade.
